Every time I go to buy a bundle of stakes for something I groan at the price. Yeah, compare the price of a bundle of stakes to say a 2×4, or a 2×6 and you many wonder why you never just thought of making your own before. I finally decided to give it a try, it’s not that hard with a table and miter saw.
The barn door is up in the bathroom!!! I still need to put crown molding around the top of the cabinet, find a handle for the door, but at least it is up!!

This one’s for my sis…who seems to think I never fail at anything. It’s not true, I fail all the time. No biggie, I just keep looking for the one way that actually works for me. Yesterday I failed at making pulley wheels for my bathroom cabinet door…..tomorrow I have a few more ways to try ;0)
This might be my new favorite thing for a while. I was going to just stain this project then paint over it with milk paint and have some of the dark show through after sanding, but was pleasantly surprised with how the stain itself turned out.
